With the idea of moving solr.xml to zk, coreRootDirectory seems like the prop
we are talking about in SOLR-4697 - something similar to solr.home. I don't
think it should block your work here, but I'd really hate to see that
introduced in solr.xml. I think we need another mechanism for that level of
prop - either the same one as solr.home, or one that takes advantage of
solr.home (I gave one such example in my comment in SOLR-4697)
