my read on this patch is that there is no contention (not to say endorsement,
but no contention) that faceting over multiple fields gets a speed boost.
The outstanding questions seem to center on the configuration and how to expose
and control the functionality.
Given that two years has elapsed from the OP's original post - are some of the
outstanding configuration/control questions now more easily resolved? In short,
has SOLR moved forward such that answering these questions is now easier than
it was the time of 3.1?
