Subject: [art] new HP graphics needed

Hi everybody,

As you know the Website project is doing a Home Page regesign and one of
the candidate designs needs some nice icons on it.

Louis, as well as Maarten Brouwers asked for help from the Art project
in designing/proposing new ones if we can create a better set than these:

http://www2.hku.nl/~maarten/external/OpenOffice.org/buttons.pdf

Please try to help them so that we have a new, nicer and more accessible
Homepage for the OpenOffice.org site to go with the change brought by 2.0.

Maarten,
can you put up in the same location a sample of how that homepage looks
like? It can be even a snapshot (image), not the HTML thing.
This way the Art project members may be able to get the inspiration at
work more easier when they see what is it all about.

Also, I think it would been better to have separate links to JPG or PNG
versions for your icons also for accessibility's sake.

What is a deadline for this task ?

Hope somebody will manage to help with this.

NOTE: I think it is a good idea to also file a Issue on /marketing/art
subcomponent to follow this. I'll do this a bit later today.

All the best,
Cristian
