The first part of the subject line of this message maybe isn't that much
news, but what I saw this morning, indeed is new for me.
Working on a PC, I was prompted for a Java update.
* The little popup reads: "Updata Java Now .... and get OpenOffice FREE!
Click here to continue."
* Which leeds to a window with some more text "To get e free copy of
OpenOffice, the world standard in free Microsoft Office compatible
productivity software, just click the More information link below."
* Which leeds to a webpage with more info
http://java.com/nl/download/javacom_update.jsp (replace nl with your
countries code).
and a link to the native language page.
(Although the .org is missing in the first two windows, it is present at
the web page.)
Great marketing IMO!
