Need to checkout maven, then maven-plugins, then set the properties
appropriately if you didn't use the defaults.

I agree, its not that hard - it just reminds me a little of the tomcat 4
build and that makes me cringe automatically :)

I can think of some reasons, but none of them really apply now, but to the
components.

There's nothing seriously wrong with the new setup, and I prefer it to how
it was. Something just makes me feel a little uneasy, like we are going to
get a lot of people complaining it doesn't work...
