Yes, though if users start asking questions about m2 after the alpha release then I would answer them on the user list but different ones can be made. I am primarily interested in unified development of the core and the folks involved in coding the core are and have worked on both m1 and m2. Brett and I will act like bridges. Brett knows more about m1 now than I do but I still know where things are and I know m2 very well whereas Michal, Trygve and Emmanuel are more familiar with the innards of Maven2. John Casey will probably also be entering the mix soon as he has a long history of supplying patches and helping and just gave me a big patch for maven2. In fact after Brett and myself he is most likely the person who knows the most about maven1 even though he is only a user. -- jvz.
