thanks for the discussion
sadly, no decision, opinions are divided
I let anybody use his favorite AI to get a more detailed summary of the many
positions

new projects ideas were shared:
- on the Java Module side, there are ideas about:
  - convergence between compiler and javadoc
  - convergence between source and jar
- moving some plugins into Maven core
  - as a first step, clarifying plugin plugin and eventual XML descriptor-less
but annotations-based plugins

having project-oriented discussions is IMHO useful to define our future
directions and get groups working together

Java Modules project is the key project currently in progress:
I imagine that after the current votes for new release of jar, it will be
useful to see where we stand and what will be the next steps here

For now, I won't dig myself into the consolidation of plugins: I have already
too much to do, we'll see later when we try to move the 3 core plugins form
4-beta to release

Hervé
