Hi folks,
Rather than backing up with tarballs I've started to commit my work on the Maven site. I had intended to do this on a branch, but I managed to only branch the modified fields, and all the deletions/additions ended up on HEAD which was pointless. Rather than fudge around with it, I've put all the doco on HEAD and put a disabler into maven.xml to prevent accidental publishing. For now, site publish can happen from MAVEN-1_0-BRANCH if necessary.
Here is a preview: http://www.apache.org/~brett/site-2/
Obviously plenty of holes, but feedback on the content so far and layout is welcome. I'm trying to keep the best practices and Maven theology separate from the Maven 1.x nitty gritty so that it can be more easily replaced over time, future proofing the site a little.
I'll keep moving on this, hoping to finish this week and relaunch before pushing out 1.0.2 and then moving on to 1.1 and beyond.
Oh, and I apologise for using navigation.xml as my TODO workspace :)
If anyone wants to volunteer to write a document, just let me know.
Cheers, Brett
