Hi Rick,
We're happy to discuss this sort of thing here, I think. This has been
brought up by a tuscany developer in the past, and I'm sure I answered
it, but it was a while back.
Basically:
- Correct about gump support, however its not suitable for nightly
builds as it will use the latest of all your prerequisites (different
from just building from trunk) and rarely succeeds unless all your
prereqs also build
- There was discussion on the infrastructure list about setting up a
place for nightly builds, however it was stalled waiting for a new
machine. I will ask if we can try again since some other obstacles have
now been overcome.
- Several Apache projects are using Continuum for this. It is what I
would set up in the above area.
I'll ping infrastructure again and keep this list up to date. You might
like to take a look at Continuum, too. The latest builds are much
faster, eg:

Hello all,
First let me apologize for being slightly off topic. Our group Apache
Tuscany would like some routine nightly builds. Typically I seen this
with Gump, but my understanding is it does not work with Maven 2.0 based
projects. I have tried Continuum and got it to work locally on my
laptop. But I'm looking for something that all can run and look at.
Ideally this would be on Apache infrastructure. Does anyone here know
of something like this ? What do you use for this? Feel free to mail
me directly or to the mailing list if it's not too off topic.
Thanks
