Someone else reported it and I think it's because I defaulted to useSystemClassLoader = true which apparently doesn't work on windows (thought it was fixed, guess it wasn't, unpacking the thinkpad again today)

Probably because the plugin configuration isn't taking for some reason. I'd try it in plugin management instead, and use mvn help:effective-pom to check.
