You nailed it, that's exactly my concern as well. If people want alternate formats and they pipe the contents directly into the embedder (or swizzle them into proper poms like Eric's yaml stuff) fine. "Maven" has XML defined poms...not groovy or ruby or [fill in the blank with script language of the week]. Btw... last time I checked build.xml was, well, xml...so what's the big deal with pom.xml? --Brian
