Hi Nick! Good topic... :-) Conceptually, the different repos can have releases independently. However, sometimes a story can span multiple repos (e.g. crypto, server and mobile). So I think it would make sense to have a hybrid approach of having major releases across the components and minor releases for individual components. That will give us the most flexibility I think.
