Hi All,
Since I am a newbie to Moblin live-image/install image concept, I am facing a lot of difficulties in installing a Moblin Image on my platform. I am looking forward to you guys to help me in fixing up this issue which may be trivial but is giving me a lot of jitters: To start with I have created a successful live image from Moblin site and with this my platform is booting fine, but when I try to install Moblin to my USB HDD through this live image. I opted from default levels options and then it successfully built the image (At least it shows like that). Then When I try to boot it through my HDD, it shows the following message: /vmlinuz-2.6.29-rc2-13.1.moblin2-netbook ro root=-/dev/sdb2 quiet It then results in kernel panic stating: Kernel panic: unable to mount / to /dev/sdb2 unknown partition. Don't know why it is happening and how to get rid of it.. Please help?
