Hi,
I'm new to moblin and I can't configure my keyboard layout (french
azerty). It should be fr-latin9. Only text console mode configuration is
successful : I hacked /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit to take care of
/etc/sysconfig/keyboard by taking some script portions from a redhat
like distro.
But under X window, the keyboard stays qwerty, none of my configs
attempts let me change the layout :
1st/ create new image using MIC2 and modified ks file to set french
locals : no effect
2nd/ create /etc/X11/xorg.conf file to add InputDevice section with
XkbLayout option (taken from working eeebuntu) : no effect
3rd/ set hal policy in /etc/hal/..., : small effect, /var/log/Xorg.0.log
shows fr layout is selected, but hitting 'a' still produce 'q'.
4th/ play with setxkbmap : not exepected effect. setxkbmap -print shows
that previous changes are set but the layout still locked to qwerty.
Since I did not find any doc or faq about this problem, here is my
questions :
- is something missing and not yet ported to moblin ?
- is any Xlib buggy ?
- how may I help to port this feature ?
Regards,
