I already got such an answer considering this subject. Look for posts with
my name or 'vmware' in the last 2 months:

"unfortunately, vmware currently doesn't have the level of 3D graphics
support that the moblin UI
needs (including DRI2, KMS and NRX) and as a result this is currently not
going to work.."

the same is with the vboxm that is why it crashes.
