I complained about this on IRC in mid-February. You said you were going
to talk to the JAXB project about publishing an actual release in the
maven-repository. Short of that, you can do a normal maven-upload request.

The reason this is a bad idea is that, as it stands today, xfire, SM and
openejb all have their own copy. Now, if they all reference their own
copy, and for example, SM has a dependency on openejb and xfire, SM gets
3 copies of JAXB and has no way of knowing they are the same thing.
That's not fun.

If it's your own distribution of jaxb, repackaged in some way, its a
fine solution. If not, then it shouldn't be done.

No, they'll need to be uploaded through the normal procedures or put
into java.net. So far the convention seems to be to put the RI in the
javax.[...] group ID.

After this, I'd certainly +1 the release, but I don't want to see it
happen before that.
