Could you give me your Clover configuration ?
because the last version of maven-clover-plugin is 2.4 and used this dependency
:

<groupId>com.cenqua.clover</groupId>
<artifactId>clover</artifactId>
<version>1.3.13</version>
</dependency>
I haven't any trace of version 3.3 of the Clover plug-in
