That sounds like an interesting idea ... I think the maven assembly plugin does
this too.
I'd like to see the solaris plugin be as much like the maven assembly plugin as
possible (for a more consistent developer experience). It would be interesting
if there was some kind of hook that could be used so that pkg/pkg.gz could be
just another kind of assembly.
