Robert Scholte commented on MWEBSTART-165:
------------------------------------------
I have another suggestion: deprecated the signing in this plugin as well and
use the [m-jarsigner-p|http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-jarsigner-plugin/]
instead. I haven't figured out if it's possible, but I'd prefer to leave the
signing up to one plugin.

> The webstart-maven-plugin uses the
> {{org.apache.maven.plugin.jar.JarSignMojo}} from the jar-plugin which looks
> for the {{jarsigner}} tool in {{$JAVA_HOME/jre/../sh}}. Regarding to MJAR-104
> this will not be fixed as the signing capabilities of the jar plugin are
> deprecated and replaced by the jarsigner plugin.
> Please either fix MJAR-104 or provide the use of the jarsigner plugin from
> within the webstart-maven-plugin.
