Tony Chemit commented on MLICENSE-28:
-------------------------------------

I remember there is already a mecanism to reuse thirdparty files from one
module to another one. But FWIR there is nothing about aggregator stuff. I will
have a look for it.

Thanks for report.

> aggregate-add-third-party should be able to use a THIRD-PARTY.properties for
> the aggreated licences

> Having to edit every child projects THIRD-PARTY.properties file can be
> somewhat painful.
> What would be useful is for either - aggregate to check to see if there is a
> THIRD-PARTY.properties file in the parent, and use that if the child projects
> one does not contain the required information.
> Or even if during aggregation, it checks then for any licenses not picked up
> by the children projects properties file, and uses its own to cover the rest.
> Either way, being able to put something into a project with submodules
> /src/licence/THIRD-PARTY.properties file that effects the
> target\generated-sources\THIRD-PARTY.txt file would be pretty good.
