I'm sure it varies from project to project. I believe Struts is using Maven for preiodic builds of the website and the resulting unit tests and code coverage reports. I think some of the subprojects (like Shale) are running off Craig's server (or at least they were.) If they haven't moved to the solaris zone for everything they will be shortly.
Craig's idea about setting up a Gump build is also probably a good idea.
