Another TODO: along with your first release into the 'org.apache.myfaces' group, there's a bunch of work to be done to "relocate" all of the existing artifacts in the repository.
Without this, Maven won't know that myfaces:myfaces-impl:jar:1.1.1 and org.apache.myfaces:myfaces-impl:jar:1.1.2 are different versions of the same artifact. Briefly... svn co svn://svn.codehaus.org/maven/scm/repository/myfaces ... add <relocation> tags, create a patch, and open a JIRA ticket in MEV.
