Ganesh Jung commented on MYFACES-2585:
--------------------------------------

Wow, sounds complicated!

Can you please detail what exactly your code is meant to do? Do you remove
CDATA or do you encode it? Is there any change on the JavaScript side?

Looking forward to your solution!

> ajax doesn't work if target contains script with CDATA

> This doesn't work:
> <h:inputText value="#{numberBean.myNumber}">
> <f:ajax render="test" />
> </h:inputText>
> <h:panelGroup id="test">
>
> <h:inputText value="#{numberBean.myNumber}" />
> </h:panelGroup>
> But this works fine:
> <h:inputText value="#{numberBean.myNumber}">
> <f:ajax render="test" />
> </h:inputText>
> <h:panelGroup id="test">
>
> <h:inputText value="#{numberBean.myNumber}" />
> </h:panelGroup>
