Hello Raman,

Hi,
Thought I would add some info on the status of CDs. Of course
distributing CDs is just one channel and Rajesh can comment about
other activities that he has knowledge of.
Sure, thanks for sharing this with us!

As far as CDs are concerned, localized OpenOffice.org has cemented a
place in those CDs. The languages that are to be completed by
December include Telugu, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali, Assamese and
Kannada. Seems a big task, but with FLOSS community taking greater
interest in this activity now, thing do seem quite possible.
Very encouraging indeed. There seems to be other big languages (constitutional ones) such as Sindhi and Kashmiri, but how about Hindustani? I've heard it's not a constitutionally-recognized language, but that it is spoken by many. Could it also help boost the adoption of OOo?

Thanks again,
Charles.

Thats all for now.
Best regards
-Raman
