Given the kind of work you intend to do, the NLC may not be the right place for your project. Since you do not plan to fully localize OOo in Sardinian and plan to work on the spellchecker, you may rather have a look to the localization project: http://l10n.openoffice.org and the Lingucomponent project: http://lingucomponent.openoffice.org . When you will feel ready to localize OOo in Sardinian and build a community of users, developpers, translators and documentation writers, you will be welcome here.
