Hi Bernhard,

Currently it is not decided where the pages will be hosted. Bernhard
said on the wiki that he would prefer them to be hosted by the MP and
Cristian has proposed either a /get_legal/ subdirectory or our own site.
So this should be organized before.
What I was thinking of was:
- host the (simply translated) main page at why.openoffice.org and link
from that page directly to the subpages in the NLC projects.
It's ok for me.
This does only work, if the main page stays relatively immobile - John
wants it to be changed for every campaign. IMHO this will not work if
NLC projects will have to adapt their page every now and then.
Yes.
But this should not restrain you from translating the get_legal page.
No, of course, this was not the sense of my mail :)
See the page: http://why.openoffice.org/get_legal.html
Beware! This page is a work in progress, so feel free to add
your own "localized" changes yourself, and to join the
discussion about it on [email protected]
At this moment the page is no more on line.
It has moved to the main page: http://why.openoffice.org
Imho, if we want to be associated to the MP campaign we should design
first a workflow with the MP.
That's what I thought of the wiki as communication platform - even
better would it be, if more NLC project members could join the Marketing
Project's dev list.
Joining the marketing list is not easy as this is a high traffic list
usually. I'm used to follow (skim through to be more exact ;) this list
and it would be great if in such case, a summary or a head up could be
post on com@ list.
If it would be better for you and others from NLC we could think of
creating a new mailing list: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
this is a kind of slogan I think through our project, NYAAML : Not Yet
Another Mailing List ;) I'm not against anyway :)
But we definitely need to work together as *one team* !
Yes, I agree. Your (MP team) inititative is really great :)
Designing a whole web site will take time and need to be discussed
through our groups too, as we can't translate the message as is, it
needs to be adapted to be as catchy as possible.
You're right - even the main site is under construction, so this will
take time. In the meantime we should keep as much contact as possible.
Yes, but we need to define the way all together.
Kind regards
Sophie
