This is mainly to know which N-L communities are represented. "NLC"

course right in your case. We ask for nationality too, but that is to
track possible visa requirements.

This is a NLC meeting in the sense that we will discuss topics
focusing on
the NLC point of view, and most participants will be active in the
NLC.
That said, people who are active in the OOo community but not in N-L
projects are not forbidden to attend! They can just specify the OOo
project they are most active in.

Yes. People who subscribe from now on will find an optional field

they can specify this kind of additional information.
Another question I just found out. Could you please provide some info
on access?
I tried to book a flight just today but found out that from Paris the
nearest airport is Bologna which is completely unsuitable and far away.
Train information could thus be very useful.
