Hello all, If your browser interface is in a language other than English, please take a look at http://test.openoffice.org/
Look at the text that appears next to or around the flag icon (please enable JavaScript if you had it turned off). Enclosed within square brackets [] is the language your browser has reported. You should also see that language in its 'native' form - e.g., EspaƱol for Spanish, and it should link to the appropriate NL project. I have implemented this with 40 languages so far, so not all languages will be displayed in their native form yet. What I would like to know from you is what appears next to or around the flag icon in your browser(s), and whether it is correct (please send corrections if it is incorrect). Many people who may not know English still visit OpenOffice.org (instead of a specific NL project), and we don't want them to get lost. Currently, language selection is hidden away in the minitabs (top-right hand corner of the page, middle tab). We hope that this new header design will increase the visibility of OOo's NL projects for these people, among accomplishing other things (i.e., better accessibility). Thanks to Alexandro Colorado of the Spanish NL Project for suggesting this. I would also appreciate any other feedback you might have on this issue. Regards, Ivan. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
