I've just visited the site with Firefox3.0.4 and IE 6.0.2800.1106 on Windows2000SP4. I see [ja] on the flag of United Nations. Next to the flag, I see the text "Language Projects" that links to http://projects.openoffice.org/native-lang.html I suppose I should have seen "Japanese" in Japanese characters, but I haven't. I changed my browser settings to ja -> en-us or zh for tests, the site always indicates [ja] and UN flag. Furthermore, when visiting with IE, the right top headers (language detection, the text about login, and search box) doesn't appear until I change the window size of IE. If the IE window has been maximized, this problem doesn't happen. I suppose the language detection will help many people who don't read English. I hope this will work well!
