In fact, here is one right now (I've been giving some vector editor goodness to my old modularity demo, Imagine): https://github.com/timboudreau/imagine/tree/master/Imagine/svg-io :-) Currently it bundles its own Batik, but it really should use the NetBeans one. -Tim
