Hi All, I see I said at the top of the last of these emails that it was my final installer-related task - famous last words! :-) Other commitments over Sep-Dec of last year meant I hadn't intended to be involved with the release or installers for NetBeans 28. I did however build some for my own use. As it became clear that FoAN was not in a position to release installers for NetBeans 28, I ended up publishing them. These are the figures for those. Unlike previous iterations of the community installers, these shipped with Temurin. This was mainly to link in with other things on my end, but does have the advantage that each installer is almost 100MB smaller. This was also the first release we've had in a number of years without installers during the release candidate phase. These have highlighted issues in the past, but luckily all variants built cleanly. As it happens, I recently updated the build repository for the Codelerity installers, and will continue to provide installers. NetBeans 29 is up already - https://www.codelerity.com/netbeans/ I think the situation over NB28 may show we need multiple providers.
