Hello, one of the dependencies of netbeans is SwingX (libs.swingx). One of the modules that currently depend on it is db.dataview.
SwingX is LGPL licensed and so falls into the "Category X" list: https://www.apache.org/legal/resolved.html#category-x and so can't be included in an Apache project. Thus libs.swingx needed to be removed as a whole. While having a first look at this, I noticed this in the swingx license: Copyright (c) 2005-2006 Sun Microsystems, Inc., 4150 Network Circle, Santa Clara, California 95054, U.S.A. All rights reserved. Use is subject to license terms below. Sun, Sun Microsystems and the Sun logo are trademarks or registered trademarks of Sun Microsystems, Inc. in the U.S. and other countries. So this is directed at Oracle: Is relicensing/dual-licensing/donating SwingX an option? Thank you Matthias
