I haven't tested or applied the patch, but +1 to Eriks' argument.
Giving a knowledgeable user a more hands on way to update the transactions is
beneficial.
Browsing over the patch, the forms looks beneficial What screen you would want
to have it
accessible from is questionable. Perhaps create an accounting admin section to
account for this superuser.
