Hi,

I think that prefuse is configurable if to do processing on server or on
client. It has a java version which I think is doing the job on server and
sends only the output/drawing to the client. It has also a Flash version
(ActionScript) which I think is processing on client.

But honestly I think that prefuse is very powerful but it has also some
drawbacks

1) it has so many features and it tries to cover so many scenarios that is not
focused on the type of charts which maybe ofbiz needs.
2) it started in java now they are moving to ActionScript (Flash) . Again they
are loosing some focus with the scope of their project.
3) it is a new project and they are in beta state.

Concluding I think JCharts is more what ofbiz needs. Anyway the decision is
with Skip.

Thanks,
Virgil

Hi Virgil

Am I wrong or is prefuse intended for thick java clients/applets?

Scott
