Thank you Sharan. Given Michael's feedback, I'm listing here (very briefly) a few quick ideas for GSoC:
- Translations to any languages the students are fluent in. - Adding time-attendance functionality for the HR module. - Improving the workflow and functionality for the marketing module (leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, marketing campaigns, mailing lists, etc ...) - Simplifying, cleaning up, and improving all data (demo, seed, seed-initial) across the core application components. Following the excellent work done by Rishi and other members it makes sense to start to look deeply at this data and reorganize it appropriately. - Better styling of themes (mostly CSS work). For example. make all text boxes, drop-downs, and other fields consistent in their width. Provide better layouts, and generally just improve the user experience. I'm throwing in tasks of different difficulty levels to see what people think should go in GSoC. I hope those ideas might be useful.
