Michael, all, Moving forward with automated recommit vetting of PRs and patch files in JIRA tickets I am working on a Proof of Concept.
In order to conclude this PoC scenarios need to be established and tested. In order to get to acceptable results these scenarios need to be executed against repositories as close to the official repositories (albeit with some additions/modifications not in the official base repository) and in the CI infrastructure of the ASF. Given the unique nature of ASF's CI architecture/infrastructure and services (including integration with ASF's Github and JIRA setups) anything deviating from this would affect results and therefore conclusions and recommendations. Furthermore copying/mimicking such a setup to work with is not feasible.
