Yeah, that appears to be the same issue. I was able to reduce it to a very simple test case, that shows purely bad SQL being generated, that wouldn't work in any case(the test case ran on derby, I discovered the problem with postgres, and David tried it on mysql). I'm still waiting on the details that caused this change to be implemented; maybe there's another way to fix the original issue.
