Jacques Le Roux commented on OFBIZ-6150:
----------------------------------------

In my memory it depends on cases, on average there is an impact, [I can
remember that. This is more obvious when you have more (a lot of) elements to
retrieve.|http://markmail.org/message/3x3bcz4jfydhravi]

Now I wonder because it seems [the community decision which started
here|http://markmail.org/message/ok7axwcnxzffymsj] was only about showing the
whole list or not. We would need to have serious metrics to see what is really
the impact (depending on what is really retrieved from DB, eg a lot of entries
or not). Maybe if we retrieve the default (20) there is not much impact in all
cases (I can't remember if we had the same kind of pagination when this
decision was made). But that would need to be tested on several DBMS, so I'm
not sure it's worth it. Also view-entity and static ones should be considered,
I wonder about large view-entities for instance, also it depends on the number
of filtering fields, etc.

In conclusion if nobody is ready to profile this seriously I suggest we close
as "won't fix", et voilĂ !

Of course this would be a global decision, not only for 'Temporal Expression'
Screen

> Have 'Temporal Expression' Screen deliver the overview on opening screen

> Currently the Find Temporal Expressions screen doesn't show any data on
> opening the screen, which leads to a diminished UX.
