Nicolas Malin commented on OFBIZ-6146:
--------------------------------------

Hello Christian,

I review your patch and understand what's do you mean by {quote}
LookupInventoryItems.groovy is also no longer used but did contain logic to
look for the orderId which may still need to be integrated in the functionality.
{quote}

I take some time to understand why a LookupInventory realize a find on
ShipmentReceiptAndItem entity view.

I propose to continue the works with adding a LookupInventoryReceipt to realize
the search on InventoryItem and ShipmentReceiptAndItem (separate on two
different list)
If I found the time, I try to work on it tomorrow

> LookupInventoryItem is not functional. The dropdown results are not
> implemented and the popup is implemented by LookupInventoryItems.ftl which
> lacks search options leading to empty results.
> This was encountered for OFBIZ-6145 for purchase return issuance which
> employs the lookup.
> It should be implemented based on the existing lookups which use form widgets
> rather than FTL files.
