For now, the HCatalog jars included in Pig sharelib will work seamlessly for
Pig with HCatalog. When using Java/MR with HCatalog, the HCatalog sharelib can
be a stop-gap approach as a place of truth for the JARs users can directly pick
and put into their libs. It can be refined in another JIRA when HCat action is
implemented
