If the primary intention is to find the new checkstyle and javac warnings added
by the new patch, it should be easy to modify bin/test* scripts and in the
final output print the exact lines in the patch having problems (tabs,
newlines) or the new javac warnings by doing a diff between compile-clean and
compile-patch output.
