As I recall, OpenJPA worked without issues when using OID @lobs. What did lead you to this? The two overrides came in while shaking out PG TCK issues, but I don't have a captured failure pinned to them today (cannot remember); the in-tree tests don't explicitly map any column as oid, so BYTEA-backed @Lobs never hit that branch. If you think, that legacy OID @Lob mappings are working unchanged on master, I'm happy to revert fbae29f + the auto-commit follow-up cf0166f and re-run tests. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
