I have used Open Office for several years and have been very pleased with it. I recently recommended OO to a friend and I was horrified that during the download of OO a malware program called Optimizer Pro was also installed on her computer. Neither of us is computer savvy so I used system recovery to return her computer to its pre-OO condition. I was very upset and surprised that this happened. The worst is that she really wants to use OO and now we are afraid to try to download it. 😕
