We don't need that. Windows XP exists. OpenOffice runs on it. Done. Our site is already too verbose in many other respects, it is not our task to warn XP users that Microsoft is not giving them support any longer.
I think when we write the following it should be clear and current enough: Free memory of 256 Mbytes RAM (512 MB RAM recommended)
