We've seen this happen a few times (i.e., misleading advertisement displayed on the SourceForge download page), but those ads were reported here (and probably they are also reported to the right channel, which would be this one http://sourceforge.net/blog/sourceforge-blockthis-initiative-update/ ) and promptly removed.

Our biggest reputation problems do not come from there. They come from people who use search engines to find the OpenOffice site and are tricked by sponsored ads into download something else.
