Thanks for taking action. I also think it's OK.
It may sound like an easy issue. I don't know the history of that issue
but keeping in mind the comment #17 and #19 could help to prevent some
unfruitful hours. ;-)

Our plan is to add two more decimal places to the inches system to allow it
to have 4 places after the decimal. This will allow for people to more
easily use 8ths and 16ths of an inch.
