I do not remember them as broken. Well, maybe (I can't check now) there is a mozilla-related switch to be removed, but at least on Linux this should be OK. The only discussion I can find in the archives from a quick look is http://markmail.org/message/t2k75ai7go7xgmcn for Windows builds; I don't know if it's the one you meant.
