I'm very sad to hear that Ian is no longer with us. Unfortunately, I had
not the pleasure to meet him in person or to do some work with him.

his Apache id was "ingotian".
I hope that someone who knew him better will volunteer and write a
couple paragraphs for the OpenOffice blog in his memory.
