Looked at code, tried to anyway. Way to many includes, which I don’t know how
to look up.
I’d be better off with compiled code for modules with all includes expanded.
Included read me text of my server code to convert so far.
While I am thinking of it, saw an earlier email about source of help.
For online help, create with Writer and export as .xhtml file headers and
footers not exported.
Tried dumping .odt file. I could not see text or fonts (must be encoded). But
other parts were not encoded (like meta data). Seemed to waste a lot of space.
Saw a lot of other stuff that made it seem like our files are being fed into a
another language (xml?)
May consider combining .html and .xhtml files for better creation.

Only reason I want to see Print and print preview code is that I want the HTML5
look identical to printed code. I will have additional references to understand

Object: Convert HTML 4 output from Open Office Writer to HTML 5.
Server files:
index.html - Passes input file and parameters to server
Meant to be main file of a directory/folder - may change name
gen2.php - Converts file (.html) and downloads output (.hml)
Could change name, but also change form in index.html corresponingly
Could change to outputing file to server.
Input parameters:
File to be converted
Title to show on browser tab
Width of paper for printing.
Open Office gives margin size, so use 8.5in for letter sized paper
Margin used as left/right padding of shown document
Height of printed paper, when printing document
Helps place footer on bottom of page for printed documents
Note that "page setup" for printing modifies maximum height may use.
(like marginn topand margic
Use 'auto' to remove page headers and footers (not meant for printing)
Font size - default when .html does not specify size
Font family, as "Arial, Georgia') when .html does not specify
Things changed and things not working:
Headers and footers:
Split into three parts, left, center, and right
If center changed by ruler, would need manual adjusting.
Put wherever .html indicates a page break is indicated (and end of
document).
page break not indicated when in middle of somthing, like paragraph,
For browser, a blue line inserted whereever a page break occurs.
Insertion of current date not implemented yet
<FONT ...> changed to <span ...> where found
"style='...'" changed to "class='...'" mostly
with appropiate <style> entries added
No longer by HTML 5 parameters changed to HTML 5 and/or CSS.
HTML tables need improving (incomplete)
Images are line centered
Cetering dome mostly for inserted formulas.
If original image was resized by Open office, new size not passed.
(Looked at export to xhtml, covered there.)
Table of contents not done yet.
Font outline and shadowing not passed via .html
Plan to cosolidate some <span> elements
Notes: Thangs that happen and some things that may need manual fixing:
Headers and footers:
Split into left, center, and right of page
When center of page moved by ruler, may need manual adjusting
Placed at all page breaks noted in .html file
Page breaks in middle of something, like paragraph, aren't noted
Where current date should be, not implemented yet
Hard coded 1/2 blank line after footer, may change
