Actually that part seems to be ignored.
The description.xml in all the extensions I use start with

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<description xmlns="http://openoffice.org/extensions/description/2006";
xmlns:d="http://openoffice.org/extensions/description/2006";
xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink";>

But that address is a 404...

Does anyone know what is the point of including this outdated header?
Should it be fixed/updated or simply removed?
